✨ Your body is made of stardust.
This is not a poetic metaphor — it’s a scientific fact, although not a popular one. Every cell, every atom in your body was once born inside a star. You are literally cosmic material that breathes, feels, and carries consciousness.
“Every atom in our bodies has passed through stars, meaning that we are literally made of stardust. For thousands of years, people have explored their emotional, physical, and spiritual links with the sky. These connections can be seen in many areas of life, from religion and creativity to politics and architecture.”
— University of Wales Trinity Saint David – MA Cultural Astronomy and Astrology (Sophia Centre)
And that’s precisely how astrology works: not as belief or merely a prediction, but as an energetic and symbolic language that reflects your inner design, and how this design talks and interacts with its environment.
This short blog is your practical guide to retrieving this symbolic language in the form of your birth chart from a trusted site (astro.com), with a clear explanation of why this chart is the starting point for everything you want to discover in astrology.
🌌 What is a Birth Chart (or horoscope)?
A birth chart is an energetic snapshot of the sky at the exact moment your essence went again solo on this Earth. From your mother’s womb to the moment your own tiny body drew its first breath of air. It shows where the planets were at that moment and what relationships they held. It also shows you all that you’ve already investigated and invested in.
That makes it a unique imprint of your potential, shaped by an inner and outer architecture, its cyclical lessons, your soul force, and the energetic memory that comes with it.
What I mean by this is the following: in genuine astrology, we don’t use the chart as a fixed destiny, but as a living compass. It reveals which archetypes you came to play with, evolved through, and what you need to remember next. It highlights in rough areas what you’ve already learned and where your power resides now.
But above all, it points toward new possibilities for growth and toward who you’ve always been beneath it all.
This is an invaluable tool in these complex times.
Or, as Bashar once framed it from a metaphysical perspective:
“Astrology is a permission slip that is simply a reflection of the idea of how you have crystallized your particular experience into physical reality, and therefore it can be used to reflect certain things and themes you have chosen to explore on Earth.”
🕰️ Why your birth time matters
If you know your birth time — great. You can get started right away. If not, use ’12 PM (noon)’ as a temporary stand-in. This is widely accepted as the next best option. Still, it’s well worth finding your exact time.
➡️ You can usually request it from the city hall of your birthplace — most replies come within a day.
⚠️ Don’t rely solely on family memory. Even the most well-meaning mothers often misremember. Believe me, I’ve seen it hundreds of times. Please, do not think yours is the exception.
🔧 If there’s no way to retrieve your birth time, you might consider a chart rectification. This is a specialized astrological process that uses the symbolism of energetic key life events to reverse-engineer your likely time of birth.
If you’d like to do so, I recommend booking a session with Sharon Liar, the go-to rectification expert of Debra Silverman’s Applied Astrology School. (U.S.) An email to her will quickly help you on your journey, or you can contact the Faculty of Astrological Studies (U.K.) https://astrology.org.uk/consult-an-astrologer/, and find yourself an astrologer with this specific specialisation.

🌠 What’s next?
Your birth chart is just the beginning — a rhythmic compass that reminds you that your life has cosmic timing.
Now, hold on to this chart, because in my new blog series,‘ Ask Astrology‘, I’ll guide you through the five elements, the archetypes, their meanings, and the soul dynamics that bring your chart to life.
From here, you’re invited to go deeper: to face your patterns, to integrate both your shadow challenges and your light talents as expressions of the same whole, so you can understand how to facilitate your growth and your happiness!
But first, you have to get over your fear of astrology. I don’t Believe in Astrology – by Debra Silverman will help you love yourself unconditionally through the lens of Astrology. It’ll dispel any doubts about its quality by combining psychology and ageless wisdom. Or as Debra herself tells us:
” You will remember the truth of your soul’s expression, seen through the eyes of love.”
✨ Your chart is not the end. It’s a beginning.
Your birth chart is the starting point for everything that follows in this ‘Ask Astrology’ series.
It is opening, mirroring, and integrating simultaneously. It’s the quest from understanding yourself to your highest embodiment!
Not as a belief system or a promise, but as a structured way of looking at your life.
We use the birth chart to explore fundamental life questions: who you are beyond roles and expectations, why certain themes recur, and where tension arises between your nature and how your life is currently shaped. The chart does not give final answers, but it provides context. It shows how your disposition works, what you already carry, and where you are being asked to develop.
That context matters. Because questions like“who am I” and “why am I here” cannot be addressed honestly without understanding how you function and why your life unfolds as it does. Astrology, appropriately used, offers this orientation.
Keep your chart close. In the following articles of ‘Ask Astrology‘, we will work with it directly.
Now go Beyond,
