“All is Mind,” states the principle of Mentalism in the Corpus Hermeticum (100–300 CE), and we do not understand it.
“All is One,” says the Bhagavad Gita, describing the unity of the soul with the divine, and we ignore it.
“Fear not,” says the King James Bible 365 times, yet we continue to feed the Field of fear.
Sometimes I think humanity does not want to know, does not want to hear, does not want to learn. A look at our divided streets and violence-filled screens makes the problem unmistakably clear. And the problem is vast.
And then there are those points of light. Moments when guides arise who speak accessibly, inviting us not just to hear universal values, but to truly explore them. Seth Speaks is such a book.
Contemporary, often newly packaged spirituality quickly says: “Just live from the heart, and you need nothing else.” While there is truth in that, it helps to understand how the heart works. How intuition works. How multidimensionality works. In other words, to integrate meaning with understanding rather than separating them.

In September 1963, a radical shift occurred for writer Jane Roberts while she was working on a manuscript. Her consciousness left her body, and a surge of energy information flooded in. Upon returning, she discovered she had produced text through automatic writing. Out of genuine curiosity, she and her husband, Robert Butts, began investigating the phenomenon.
What began with experiments such as the Ouija board evolved into deep research into consciousness, ESP, and trance. Seven years later, now seasoned in working with the Seth energy, Jane, Robert, and Seth delivered this work together.

About Jane
Jane Roberts (8 May 1929 – 5 November 1984) was small and slender in stature. When the Seth energy first presented itself as a paranormal phenomenon to her and her husband, neither of them believed in the paranormal. They assumed the material originated from their own subconscious.
After a psychologist reviewed several texts on reincarnation and warned that amateur mediumship could lead to mental issues, Roberts dismissed the advice. She had never been so creatively alive, and the material she produced in collaboration with Seth far exceeded her own abilities.
At that time, Roberts was already established in poetry, short stories, children’s books, nonfiction, science fiction, fantasy, and novels.
Since 1954, she has shared her life with artist Robert Butts. Jane had struggled with health issues from a young age due to an overactive thyroid and appears in photographs and recordings as fragile yet immensely powerful, as if too much life flowed through her finely built body and veins.
She had a deeply painful relationship with her mother that demanded the utmost from Jane during her early years. What stands out in the work she transmitted is the care with which Seth handled her energy. This attentiveness and warmth are clearly felt in the tone of the texts. Her husband’s devotion to her is equally evident.
At the time of her passing in 1984, Jane Roberts had reportedly performed around 1500 trance sessions for Seth, with Robert Butts always faithfully at her side as their private stenographer.

After the spiritualist wave of Madame Blavatsky in the 19th century, Jane Roberts opened the 20th century. She was the first major, widely known channeler of this new era. Others followed, each with its own emphasis and specialty: Esther Hicks and Abraham, with their focus on positive language, and The Ra Material by Carla Rueckert and her team, centered on the mechanics of multidimensionality.
In 1963, Seth arrived and stayed. As the first of this wave, this energy entity did not come to entertain or predict, but to teach. The focus was on reincarnation, the creative principle, what life is, what death truly means, and other themes that had long remained taboo.
